Memory Janitor

An AGENTS.md configuration + weekly cron job that keeps your memory files clean and useful. Prevents the common problem of memory files growing unbounded.

Memory Rules

• Daily notes with emoji prefixes: ✅ done, 🔄 in-progress, 📌 important, 💡 insight
• What to remember vs what to forget guidelines
• MEMORY.md kept under 200 lines automatically
• Weekly compaction extracts highlights and archives old notes
• Files older than 30 days moved to trash (not deleted)

1. Copy AGENTS.md to ~/.openclaw/workspace/ (merge with existing if needed)
2. Run bash cron-setup.sh for weekly compaction
3. Customize memory rules to match your workflow
